Comprehensive Networks

We designed Sensync Base as the answer for need of complex environmental monitoring that meet customer's expectation. Sensync Base can record various environmental data as it is highly flexible to be customized. It can be fitted with many environmental sensors to create comprehensive networks. We start offering you with basic air quality monitoring packages: temperature, humidity, O3 gas, CO gas, NO2 gas, SO2 gas, Particulate Matter 10 (PM10) and automatic weather/meteorological system for wind characteristics and rain fall measurement. Then, it can be expanded to include additional gas sensing measurement such as CO2 gas, NO gas, and H2S gas, not limited to environmental noise measurement, solar radiation intensity, and many other physical paramater. To enhance its spatial resolution, we suggest you to create a cluster of node made of Sensync Base and Sensync Mini combination.

System Description

Basically, Sensync Base adopts air pumping system to deliver the target air or gas into measurement chambers, as shown in Fig.1. Each sensor is placed in a single gas hood connected with gas inlet line. Our standard package consists of electrochemical gas sensors with very low detection limit and suitable for ambient monitoring and particulate matter device made of laser nephelometer principle. Our advanced micro-controller is pooling data and send data through GSM/GPRS networks as well as stored it inside on-board micro SD-card with size of 2 GB for back-up data storage. Additionally, Sensync Base is powered by PV module with batteries so it can be used anywhere as long as GSM networks are available.

Data Transmission

Through GSM/GPRS networks, every node of Sensync will transmit data via HTTP protocol to access internet as well as database server, as shown in Fig.2. The Sensync Dashboard  as web-based application will help you to display and manage your data collection. It will automatically email you the Daily Report that shows data recap for whole day (e.g. number of data, average data, maximum and minimum value, and significant events). It also allows you to control your Sensync node for your specific need and preferences, such as measurement interval time, sampling number, node health, calibration, and threshold parameters. Furthermore, it can be included with Sensync Early Warning System that alert you immediately when transmitted data is beyond particular threshold parameters. The alerts are being sent to your email and phone by SMS.  

Case Study
