We designed Sensync Qua as for larger water environmental monitoring area that meet customer's expectation: high spatial resolution. Sensync Qua can record various environmental data as it is highly flexible to be customized. It can be fitted with many environmental sensors to create larger networks as many as you can. We start offering you with basic water quality monitoring packages: temperature, pH, Dissolved Oxygen (DO), conductivity, salinity, turbidity, and Total Dissolved Solid (TDS). Then, it can be expanded to include additional ion sensing measurement such as fluoride ion, chloride ion, nitrate ion, calcium ion, potassium ion, ammonium ion, ORP, and chlorophyll ion, not limited to automatic weather/meteorological system for wind characteristics and rain fall measurement.

System Description

Basically, Sensync Qua consists of Sensor Probes, Sensor Meter, and Sensync Module, as shown in Fig.1. All probe sensors named as Sensor Probes are placed in a same container and covered with stainless steel to protect probes from sedimentation of solid or organisms. The probes then immersed into water or body of river to provide measurement. The raw data then read by Sensor Meter converted into standard format value and transferred to Sensync Module. Our advanced micro-controller inside Sensync Module is pooling data from meter and send data through GSM/GPRS networks as well as stored it inside on-board micro SD-card with size of 2 GB for back-up data storage. Additionally, Sensync Qua is powered by PV module with batteries so it can be used anywhere as long as  GSM networks are available.

Data Transmission

Through GSM/GPRS networks, every node of Sensync will transmit data via HTTP protocol to access internet as well as database server, as shown in Fig.2. The Sensync Dashboard  as web-based application will help you to display and manage your data collection. It will automatically email you the Daily Report that shows data recap for whole day (e.g. number of data, average data, maximum and minimum value, and significant events). It also allows you to control your Sensync node for your specific need and preferences, such as measurement interval time, sampling number, node health, calibration, and threshold parameters. Furthermore, it can be included with Sensync Early Warning System that alert you immediately when transmitted data is beyond particular threshold parameters. The alerts are being sent to your email and phone by SMS.
