SDGs stands for Sustainable Development Goals, which can be translated into English as "Sustainable Development Goals."
This concept promotes 17 global goals established by the United Nations (UN) as part of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. The SDGs encompass various aspects of sustainable development, including economic, environmental, social, and good governance.
The 2030 Agenda was agreed upon in September 2015 by 193 UN member states, as a collective effort to address various global challenges facing the world. This includes issues related to extreme poverty, inequality, climate change, gender inequality, and many other issues.
Of the 17 goals, there are 6 SDGs that have environmental pillars, including:
1. Clean water and sanitation
2. Sustainable cities and communities
3. Responsible consumption and production
4. Climate action
5. Life below water
6. Life on land
PT Sensor Teknologi Indonesia has taken part in realizing sustainable development, by promoting a persuasive approach to raise awareness of environmental concerns and actively participating in field execution.
Through collaboration and cooperation with the Environmental Agency, PT Sensor Teknologi Indonesia helps provide a river water quality monitoring system through the Sensyc Qua Onlimo product. We assist in providing comprehensive information regarding the pollution conditions occurring in the river, continuously, in real-time, and can be accessed remotely.
Meanwhile, on the air monitoring side, our collaboration has been established with the Environmental Agency, helping to provide an ambient air monitoring system. Through the Sensync Base product, we install SPKU (Air Quality Monitoring Station) devices at designated locations. This can be used as a reference for decision-making by policymakers.
For the industrial community, our education aims to raise awareness of responsible production processes. Through the Sensync Qua Sparing product, we assist industry players in monitoring the results of production waste processing more effectively and efficiently. So they can determine whether their processed waste meets the established standards.
